Meijän uusi koti on kaivannut mattoa olkkariin takapihan oven eteen. Tämä malli on ollut mulla aiemminkin suunnitelmissa, mutta nyt sille oikeesti löytyi hyvä paikka. Tytöt ois halunneet maton kylppäriin eli voi olla et pitää tehdä toinen.

Oon yrittänyt tätä mallia jo aiemmin poppanalla, mutta se oli liian ohkasta työhön. Nyt vihdoin sain aikaiseksi trikookuteen ostamisen. Väri valittiin olkkarin maton mukaan eli sohvapöydän alla olevassa matossa on myöskin päävärinä harmaa ja muita värejä mausteena.

Yardage I'm not entirely sure about the yardage, but it took me 534 grams / 18.84 ounces of tarn. I think it might be 133 meters / 145 yards

Our new apartmen needed a rug in front of the backyard door. This pattern has been on my To do-list for a long time but now I really have a place for it. The girls wanted it in front of the bathroom door so I might have to knit another one.

I've tried this pattern earlier also with a different kind of yarn but it was too thin for it. Now I finally had the time to go and buy tarn (because I haven't had old shirts to make it from). I chose the color to be near the color of our living room rug, grey and other colors as a spice.
