Tästä työstä oli tarkoitus tulla päiväpeitto isomman tytön sänkyyn, mutta koska en jaksa tehä mallitilkkuja ja koka käytin eri paksuisia lankoja, peitosta ei tullut tarpeeksi leveää. Mielenkiinto herpaantui ja aloin tekemään muita neulomuksia/virkkuita eli tämä tekele jäi tämän kokoiseksi ja koristamaan olohuoneen nojatuolia ja lämmittämään siinä istujia.

Jokainen lappu on eri ohjeen mukaan tehty. Langat on käytetty satunnaisessa järjestyksessä ja lappujen lopullinen paikka on päätetty isomman typyn kanssa yhdessä.

Sovittiin myös että tämä äippä tekisi typyille uudet ja suunnilleen samanlaiset päiväpeitot, ettei niistä tarvitse kinastella tulevaisuudessa. Mutta ensin pitäisi saada aikaiseksi lankojen osto ja mallin mietintä. Vaihtoehtoja on aivan liikaa ja joudun varmaan pistämään tytöt tässäkin asiassa päätöshommiin :)

This was going to be a bedspread to our older daughters bed but the measurements didn't go as I planned. I used a variety of weights in the yarns and I'm not a fan of measuring my gauge.

I got bored of this project, so I decided to leave it to the living room on the chair it's been photographed on. It's pretty there and also it's practical to have a blanket in the living room.

Every block is different and made by a different pattern. The yarns were used randomly. My older daughter decided the order of the blocks.

I talked with the girls (mainly the bigger one) and I promised to make them both a bedspread and make them possibly alike. First I have to decide what pattern to use and I have to buy the yarn for them :) The last one is my favorite part.
